You need a fleet management partner who provides the most innovative and up-to-date programs and services—while being responsive to your needs.

Our Fleet Management Services
Our focus is on sourcing the best fit-for-purpose vehicles for your organization. Whether we order them directly from vehicle manufacturers, or source them at a dealership, we’ll ensure your vehicles have the right specs, upfitting, and company branding for the job.
We use our in-depth knowledge to make sure we are depreciating the vehicle to provide you with low monthly payments and reduced residual risk. Once it’s time to cycle the vehicles out of your fleet, we’ll handle the resale process. We use our extensive remarketing network to guarantee the highest possible returns for your vehicle.
Our “One Card” fuel, maintenance, and tire programs make it easy for you to track your fleet’s fuel and maintenance costs. Your drivers can fuel up at nearly any station across Canada, and receive approved maintenance and repairs from our vast network of providers.
Our fleet card prevents unauthorized and unnecessary purchases, and consolidates all purchases in one monthly invoice. You’ll spend less time on administration, while taking better control of your fleet costs.
Our license and title management program coordinates all aspects of vehicle registration renewals for you. Our database keeps track of each vehicle’s plate and registration status, and we assume complete responsibility for timely and accurate renewals. With us, you get minimum hassle and maximum efficiency.
Our FleetSource program allows you to outsource your day-to-day fleet operations to our specialists. We’ll work with you to execute the specific ongoing tasks that will provide the most benefit to you and your organization. We’ll complete periodic performance reviews to continually optimize our results, and make any adjustments as needed.
All your fleet-related data can be found within our fleet management portal, whether the person who needs it is your in-house fleet manager, CFO, or anyone in between. The portal provides a customized view and controlled access (which can be customized depending on the user) making it easy to use for everyone.
Drivers have access to a separate driver portal where they receive important alerts and communications, can view our maintenance network, receive assistance with fleet card issues, and much more.
Drivers with personal use privileges can track and record every business kilometre driven through our secure online driver portal, whether they’re on a desktop computer or mobile phone. Once each driver enters their usage, you’ll get a notification to view the consolidated data through the secure FossFleet portal.
Our taxable benefit tool calculates each employee’s Taxable Benefit Declarations, in compliance with Canada Revenue Agency and Revenue Québec guidelines.
For those fleets travelling on toll roads, it can be a burden to track toll bills and deal with incorrect charges—especially if you have a larger fleet. Our toll road program manages and reconciles fleet-wide toll charges, and identifies any overcharges or instances of double billing.
We’ll take the administrative burden of reconciling toll invoices off your hands, and ensure you’re not paying any more than you need to be.
Our online and in-person driver safety programs make it easy for you to manage driver behaviour and reduce your risk. Drivers can access online programs from anywhere in Canada, and we can arrange for behind-the-wheel training for those who need a bit more guidance.
Through our partnership with eDriving, you’ll have access to the Mentor smartphone app which gathers driver safety data you can use to customize training programs for your drivers.
Telematics technology helps you minimize operating expenses and increase profitability. At Foss, we partner with GEOTAB to provide industry-leading telematics systems to Canadian businesses. You’ll get in-depth driver behaviour and vehicle health data, empowering you to make the right decisions to optimize your fleet.

Managed Fleet Services FAQs
How does fleet management work?
Fleet management encompasses a range of tactics and strategies aimed at improving efficiency, reducing costs, and lowering risk. Programs include maintenance and fuel management, telematics and GPS tracking, fleet-wide reporting, and more. A good fleet management strategy will reduce your costs, keep drivers safer, improve efficiency, and help your business operate more smoothly.
How to improve fleet management
Improving fleet management starts with identifying specific problem areas. Are you spending more on fuel and maintenance than you would like? Do you have good visibility into your total overall fleet costs? Do you have enough vehicles, and the right makes and models, to get the job done?
These are good questions to start with as you consider how to improve your operations. Then you can implement fleet management tools, such as vehicle leasing and cycling, fleet card programs, or telematics systems to solve specific issues. A fleet management company is a great partner in helping to improve your fleet management.
What is fleet maintenance management?
Fleet maintenance management involves the repair and upkeep of fleet vehicles, with a focus on preventive maintenance to keep costs low. Any investment in maintenance management will more than pay for itself by keeping your vehicles operating smoothly and helping to prevent unnecessary repairs.
Fleet management companies provide maintenance programs that give clients access to a wide network of providers, along with vehicle maintenance histories, maintenance alerts, and more.

Are there benefits to working with a Canadian fleet management company vs an International one?
A Canadian-based fleet management company is intimately familiar with the vehicle regulations in each province, and understands the realities of Canadian weather and geography and how it varies between provinces. They will also have relationships with local vendors to streamline vehicle acquisition, maintenance, and more.
